With the growth of our city’s population, there is an increasing number of families that work hard to make ends meet throughout the year, but struggle when it comes to Yom Tov.

Seeing this, we understood both the scope of the need and the imperative to create a new program to do something about it. 

These are not our typical Kupa families who need intensive, ongoing assistance. If we can provide them with the additional few thousand shekels they need to get through the Yom Tov season, we will prevent them from falling into larger debt and reaching a state of crisis. 

The purpose of the Chasdei Yom Tov fund is to provide 3,000 families with additional financial help to ensure that, b’ezras Hashem, they will not need our assistance the rest of the year.
